Heru Launches Jaticimel Park as Effort in Realizing Sustainable Environment

Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, launched public facility of Jaticimel Park, Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar Sub-district, East Jakarta, Friday (2/23).

The launching was symbolically done by Acting Jakarta Governor Heru by signing an inscription, accompanied by Jakarta Regional Secretary Joko Agus Setyono.

Heru hopes the presence of a park can add to the beauty of an area. The arrangement of the area by adding green space is also an effort to create a sustainable Jakarta environment.
"The park has been launched today as a new chapter of Cipinang Melayu area development. It is hoped the park can be optimized by residents maximally," Heru said, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release, Friday (2/23).
Heru also appreciated several park facilities.
"The aesthetic of the facilities is also good. The facilities support people who want to do exercise or just enjoy the scenery here," he added.
Heru hopes the local residents are able to maintain the park and its facilities for the sake of next generation.
As for information, Jaticimel Park was built in May 2023 and completed in October 2023 by 5,322 square meter. The facilities of the park are playground, reading room, yard, pedestrian, security post, toilet, viewing deck and parking lot.
The launching was also attended by Jakarta Development and Environment Assistant Afan Adriansyah, Jakarta Regional Cooperation Bureau Head Marulina Dewi, Jakarta Environment and Forestry Agency Head Bayu Meghantara, Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime and Agriculture Agency Head Suharini Eliawati, and East Jakarta Mayor M. Anwar.
